Here's what's cookin... in Lil' Debs' kitchen: 11/24/03 Recipe from : Mrs Staples and Johnson Serves: 12 Ingredients: 1 (20 oz) can blueberry pie filling* | 1 (8 oz) can crushed pineapple 1 (6 oz) pkg black cherry Jell-O* | 1 (8 oz) pkg cream chesse 1(8 oz) ctn. sour cream | 1/2 c sugar | 1/2 c chopped pecans ------- Dissovle Jell-o in 2 cups boiling water. Add pineapple (undrained), 1/2 c water, and pie filling and fold gently together. Chill until partially set and stir to redistribute fruit. Pour into 11x7x3 inch pan and chill until firm. (3-4 hrs) Topping: Mix softened cream cheese and sugar; fold in sour cream. Spread on Jell-O and garnish with nuts. Chill about 1 hour before serving. *Variation: Substitute cherry Jell-O and cherry pie filling |
